Animals, Beach, Black and White, Leica D-Lux Type 109, PhotographyI was in Fort Myers when I came across this woman feeding a real cute bird. I shot this with my Leica D-Lux Type 109. My ISO was 1600 because it was a cloudy and rainy day at the beach. Shot at f/16 at 1/1600 sec at 10.9mm.
Come Fly With Me
Beach, Black and White, Child, Child Photography, Leica D-Lux Type 109, Models, Photography, portrait, Street PhotographyI was down the shore with family and we decided to fly a kite. Needless to say, the children with us didn’t like us adults playing with a toy, so they took it from us. The result is this photo taken while laying on my back in the sand. Perspective can always make a photograph beautiful and interesting. Shot with my Leica D-Lux Type 109.
Ana and the Sunset
Art, Beach, Color photo, Landscapes, Leica D-Lux Type 109, Outdoors, Photography, Street PhotographySomewhere near Naples, we watched the sunset. I captured this moment with my friend on the beach. Hundreds of awful photos that evening and this one gem.
Lost in Thought
Art, Beach, Color photo, Leica D-Lux Type 109, Models, People, Photography, portrait, Street PhotographyMy dear friend had suffered a tremendous loss. I caught him staring out at the ocean, it’s clear his heart is broken. Photography should capture “moments”. This one did, albeit a sad and tragic moment.
Facing the Storm
Art, Beach, Black and White, Boardwalk, Leica D-Lux Type 109, Outdoors, People, Photography, Street PhotographyThis photograph was taken in Fort Meyers. It was a rainy day and everyone on the beach was awaiting a storm. This young man walked by just as the clouds rolled in. It is one of my favorite photographs.
Sarah Takes A Spin
Beach, Boardwalk, Child, Child Photography, Nikon D810, Outdoors, Photography, Street PhotographySarah is the young lady on the ride. I posted this photo because the lady working the ride seemed to enjoy our taunting Sarah right before the ride started. Just one of those moments I love. I also liked the depth and composition of this photograph. Shot with my Leica D-Lux 109, under cloudy skies.
