Haven’t taken my Fujifilm X100s out for a long while. I forgot how much I love this camera! It absolutely is great for street photography. I may upgrade to the 100f but I am not sure its absolutely necessary. Love this camera! Shot this at 1/250 of a second at f 8.0. ISO was 2000.
A Strange Look at the AlamoColor photo, Leica D-Lux Type 109, Outdoors, Parks, Photography, Street Photography
When shooting street photos, I usually prefer black and white. However, there are times when the color just needs to be shown. Such is the case here in “A Strange Look at the Alamo”. The colors were just too beautiful to leave out. This was shot at Iso 200 F/11 at 1/200 sec. I was using my Leica D-Lux Type 109 at approximately 12.1 mm. The name of the photo is a reference to the look of the police officer staring in my direction.
If You Don’t Ask, You’ll Never KnowColor photo, Leica D-Lux Type 109, New York City, NYC, Outdoors, Parks, Photography
Washington Square Park is my favorite place to capture interesting moments. You often find people making art, performing or just hanging around. So many interesting people in New York City…so many! It was a beautiful day today, so I took out my Lecia D-Lux Type 109 and hit the streets. This was the only shot I liked today. 35mm at F/11 at 1/200 SEC. ISO was set on auto (320). I like capturing artistic people caught up in their work. This guy clearly was focused.
Perched Above the WaterArt, Black and White, Leica D-Lux Type 109, New York City, NYC, Outdoors, Parks, Street Photography
I hadn’t taken my camera out for a walk in a long while. I’ve got to be better about getting out and about. On this day, I took my Lecia D-Lux Type 109. It’s currently my favorite walk around camera. I found this interesting lady sitting on the fountain in Washington Square Park. I took this shot right before she spotted my lurking near her. It’s now one of my favorites.
Come Fly With MeBeach, Black and White, Child, Child Photography, Leica D-Lux Type 109, Models, Photography, portrait, Street Photography
I was down the shore with family and we decided to fly a kite. Needless to say, the children with us didn’t like us adults playing with a toy, so they took it from us. The result is this photo taken while laying on my back in the sand. Perspective can always make a photograph beautiful and interesting. Shot with my Leica D-Lux Type 109.
Ana and the SunsetArt, Beach, Color photo, Landscapes, Leica D-Lux Type 109, Outdoors, Photography, Street Photography
Somewhere near Naples, we watched the sunset. I captured this moment with my friend on the beach. Hundreds of awful photos that evening and this one gem.
Lost in ThoughtArt, Beach, Color photo, Leica D-Lux Type 109, Models, People, Photography, portrait, Street Photography
My dear friend had suffered a tremendous loss. I caught him staring out at the ocean, it’s clear his heart is broken. Photography should capture “moments”. This one did, albeit a sad and tragic moment.
Facing the StormArt, Beach, Black and White, Boardwalk, Leica D-Lux Type 109, Outdoors, People, Photography, Street Photography
This photograph was taken in Fort Meyers. It was a rainy day and everyone on the beach was awaiting a storm. This young man walked by just as the clouds rolled in. It is one of my favorite photographs.
