Found this pic in my storage.  I think its on this website in black and white.  I played with it a bit today and brought out the color.  I think it deserves to be shown in its new version.  Shot in 2014 with a Fuji 100s, ISO 1600 23mm f/16 at 1/100 sec.

Thanks for Lunch

I was in Fort Myers when I came across this woman feeding a real cute bird.  I shot this with my Leica D-Lux Type 109.  My ISO was 1600 because it was a cloudy and rainy day at the beach.  Shot at f/16 at 1/1600 sec at 10.9mm.

A Strange Look at the Alamo

Color photo, Leica D-Lux Type 109, Outdoors, Parks, Photography, Street Photography

L1020856.jpgWhen shooting street photos, I usually prefer black and white.  However, there are times when the color just needs to be shown.  Such is the case here in “A Strange Look at the Alamo”.  The colors were just too beautiful to leave out.  This was shot at Iso 200 F/11 at 1/200 sec.  I was using my Leica D-Lux Type 109 at approximately 12.1 mm.  The name of the photo is a reference to the look of the police officer staring in my direction.

Washington Square Park is my favorite place to capture interesting moments.  You often find people making art, performing or just hanging around.  So many interesting people in New York City…so many!  It was a beautiful day today, so I took out my Lecia D-Lux Type 109 and hit the streets.  This was the only shot I liked today.  35mm at F/11 at 1/200 SEC.  ISO was set on auto (320).  I like capturing artistic people caught up in their work.  This guy clearly was focused.
