I was down the shore with family and we decided to fly a kite. Needless to say, the children with us didn’t like us adults playing with a toy, so they took it from us. The result is this photo taken while laying on my back in the sand. Perspective can always make a photograph beautiful and interesting. Shot with my Leica D-Lux Type 109.
Somewhere near Naples, we watched the sunset. I captured this moment with my friend on the beach. Hundreds of awful photos that evening and this one gem.
My dear friend had suffered a tremendous loss. I caught him staring out at the ocean, it’s clear his heart is broken. Photography should capture “moments”. This one did, albeit a sad and tragic moment.
This photograph was taken in Fort Meyers. It was a rainy day and everyone on the beach was awaiting a storm. This young man walked by just as the clouds rolled in. It is one of my favorite photographs.
Sarah is the young lady on the ride. I posted this photo because the lady working the ride seemed to enjoy our taunting Sarah right before the ride started. Just one of those moments I love. I also liked the depth and composition of this photograph. Shot with my Leica D-Lux 109, under cloudy skies.
